Good morning SHS Families,

Parent teacher conferences start this evening from 5 pm to 8 pm and continue tomorrow from 1 pm to 4 pm and 5 pm to 8 pm.

All conferences will be drop in, in our mall area.  If there are lines you can add your name to a list to schedule a time and then go see another teacher while you wait.

This year we are excited to offer food and child care to our families provided by the Florence Community PTA and made by our own culinary arts program.

Additionally we will have a lesson on ParentVUE, our online grade book, so you can check in on your students in real time throughout the year.

And finally, PTA, in conjunction with Three Rivers Casino, did a coat drive and we have several warm coats to distribute.  If your student is in need of some warm clothes, please ask Mr. Moser about it at conferences.

We look forward to seeing you this evening or tomorrow afternoon.

The OSAA Foundation Student Assistance Program is back in full swing as the holidays are rapidly approaching.  The Student Assistance Program helps the students in our building who are in the greatest need of new shoes, clothing or equipment.  With the information provided, the OSAA Foundation will use funds to shop for each student individually to the tune of $120 per student.  The Foundation staff and volunteers will then package up the goods and either have them shipped to the school.  The key for these students is that they have to participate in at least one OSAA activity throughout the year

Please fill out this form: OSAA Foundation Application Form and return it to me (kyles@osaa.org) as soon as possible.  The first 200 applicants received with fully completed forms will be eligible.  Schools are limited to a maximum of 10 students so we can spread this opportunity to as many schools as possible.
