There are many barriers students face when considering their educational endeavors after graduation. Grades, tests scores, finding the right program, being away from home, having the self-confidence to go for it; these are some of the reasons why students decide not to attend college after their senior year. However, being able to afford to go to college remains the dominant motive for why most students limit their options. Thanks to our incredible community though, many of our graduating seniors have benefited from the local scholarship opportunities generated by many local businesses, service clubs and individual citizens of Florence. Furthermore, these local scholarships continue to grow each year, as more and more organizations and individuals answer the call for student support.
