    We are looking for up to (6) CERTIFIED extra duty staff to work at the Twilight After School Program. We are looking for staff that are open to working Mon-Thurs.

    Schedule (may vary as numbers of students/needs dictate)

    • 4:00 - 5:00 Mon- Thurs plus 1 hour prep = approx. 5 hours per week (up to 6 hours/week if extra hours available)

    • (3:50 - 5:00 PM instructional time, POSSIBLE 5-5:30 PM other duties as needed)

    Grades: 5 certified to work with K-8th grade, 1 certified to work with 9-12th grade.


    Assignment: Under the guidance of the Special Programs Director and Twilight Site Manager, work with students providing STEAM activities, cultural curriculum, physical activities, and/or help with homework. Provide engaging activities and opportunities for student growth. Supervise duty areas, and assist with mealtime needs.

    Possible assignments:

    • 3 certified to provide STEAM activities K-5th grade, self-contained classrooms with multiple grade levels

    • 1 certified to provide Homework Help/Tutoring K-5th (Quiet Study room with assistance from EA’s)

    • 1 certified to provide Homework Help/Tutoring 6-8th (Quiet Study room with assistance from EA’s)

    • 1 certified to provide credit recovery/GED program for high school


    Qualifications: Ability to work with diverse learners. Experience in Twilight preferred. Hold a valid teaching/subbing license in the State of Oregon.

    Regular Weekly Schedules: 4 positions (following Siuslaw SD calendar for vacation/weather, etc.):

    4 positions @ 1:30-5:00 Friday = 3.5 hours/week

    TIMES MAY BE FLEXIBLE BASED ON REGULAR DUTIES ON FRIDAY. APPROVAL NECESSARY FROM BUILDING PRINCIPAL FOR STAFF ON REGULAR DUTY AT THIS TIME.

    Hours may be variable based on programming needs and school schedule or weather days.
