Good evening SES families
On Thursday March 19th and Friday March 20th, we will be distributing homework packets to SES students. We will have grade-level specific packets available at all of the lunch stops we’ve been visiting this week. We’ll also be handing them out in the Siuslaw Middle School parking lot where parents can simply drive up to receive the packets.
The work in these packets is not meant to be a replacement for regular school work. Our goal is to keep kids’ skills sharp by engaging them in learning and practice activities during the closure. We estimate each packet has about two week's-worth of work.
We will not be distributing Chrome Books or other devices to elementary students at this time. As the closure continues we will evaluate how best to keep students active and learning.
