Parents, Students and Staff: A lot of the Chromebooks are not getting logged off which is causing the devices to get behind in the software updates. This is fixed with the latest software update and from now on the devices will get a message to restart the Chromebook automatically.
For now, please log off of your Chromebook, Shutdown the Chromebook and then power it back on. This will apply the update that has already been downloaded to the device.

Jan 14, 2020 The person that posted the anonymous threats at the Middle School has been identified; there are no further threats to student safety. It was a hoax. Normal school operations for January 14th, but staff will be on the alert for any students impacted by this incident.

We wanted to send a HUGE THANK YOU to all the Watch D.O.G.S. who helped out with both set-up and take-down for the Kindergarten Winter Program! Thanks to your help, we were able to have a great program for our kinder families without disrupting the PE classes that also happen in the multipurpose room. The program ended at 10:30 and our 11:00 P.E.

This Friday we will be holding two flag dedication ceremonies at SES. We will be hosting a standard honor guard that includes ceremonial rifles. This is an exception to our policies on weapons at school. Parents can contact teachers to have their students opt-out.

February 6th - Regular schedules & start times for all schools today, no weather delays for busses. With some possible 'slick spots' remaining from yesterday off of the main roads, stay safe on your morning drive.

We are running a two hour delay today, February 5th, 2019. Classes begin at 10:35. We will have a quick breakfast beginning at 10:00. Lunch schedules will all remain the same.

If you family is anything like mine, the school lunch menu weighs heavily on kids minds. With that in mind I need to announce a change to the menu this week.
Due to all SES students attending the Winter Music Festival at the Florence Events Center on Thursday January 24th, we need to switch the Wednesday and Thursday menu.
Hot Dogs will now be served on Thursday and nachos moves to Wednesday.

We had a great Back-to-School BBQ this evening. Thanks to all who came. We're really looking forward to seeing kids on the first day of school for 1st-5th Grade tomorrow.

SES Twilight is pleased to announce that we will be able to provide after school programming this year for Kindergarten through 5th grade students at SES beginning Monday September 10th.
Applications and information will be available at the SES Back to School BBQ on Tuesday Sept. 4th.
After Sept. 4th, applications will be available in the SES front office.
