Good morning Siuslaw Families: As you've probably already heard, we are on a 3-hour delay this morning. Attached is our bell schedule for today. We will start the day with lunch from 11:15 to 11:35. We will then rotate through our whole schedule. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Stay safe and take care!

Siuslaw School District has two Budget Committee positions open for the school board budget process.  Positions 2 and 4 are open for appointment by the school board. Apply by September 11, 2023, by 5 p.m. The Budget Committee includes the Board of Directors and seven volunteer citizens who are appointed to serve 3-year terms. Committee members must be registered voters living within the boundaries of the Siuslaw School District and cannot be employees, officers, or agents of the district. Budget meetings will take place in April and May 2024. The school board will consider applications at the September 13, 2023 school board meeting. On-site school enrollment & registration is this Tuesday-Thursday at school buildings, from 9am to 3pm. Additional information on enrollment & registration is on the school websites on the School Enrollment Information page. Students in grades 6-12 that did not forecast for classes in the spring should see a school counselor to select elective classes. High school students can also select their locker and pick up their Chromebook. The2023-2024 Student School Year calendar is linked on the front page of each school website.

Siuslaw 97J – Summer Food Service Free breakfast and lunch for youth in the community is available at the locations below. Summer Food Service is available Monday to Friday, except July 3rd & 4th for Independence Day. The Summer Food Service program runs through August 25, 2023. A regular public meeting of the Siuslaw School District 97J Board of Directors will be held on March 8, 2023 at 6:30pm at the Siuslaw School District Office. The public is welcome to attend. An Special Meeting/Work-Session beginning at 5:30pm will start with an executive session. The executive session portion of the Special Meeting/Work-Session is closed to the public. The public will be welcomed in the meeting at the conclusion of the executive session. The regular meeting start time is 6:30pm.
