Greetings Parents & Caregivers of Siuslaw students, Registration is now OPEN for the Youth Accidental Overdose Prevention event! If you previously filled out the interest survey, you will receive a personalized link to complete your registration. The Center on Parenting and Opioids in partnership with Lane County Public Health, University of Oregon Substance Abuse Prevention & Education and other community partners will share resources and education awareness in Spanish and English to help Lane County parents, guardians, and youth feel confident in preventing accidental overdose among youth. The event will occur in-person at Straub Hall at University of Oregon and virtually on November 17th, 5:45 - 7:30pm. A flyer is attached with more details about the event. Here in Florence, we will live-stream the event at Siuslaw Middle School in the Commons; a Spanish language live-stream will be broadcast in the choir room.
