Rock Your socks reminds people that things that are different are still beautiful and wonderful. Wear your brightly colored and mismatched socks as a conversation piece to raise awareness about Down Syndrome on Thursday, March 21. March 21st was chosen because the karyotype of Down Syndrome chromosomes actually looks like a pair of mismatched socks, and it is celebrated 3/21 because it is 3 copies of the 21st chromosome instead of 2 copies! Sponsored by the Circle of Friends Club
