Good Evening Siuslaw Students and Families,
Today was our first day of our "Soft Start" in Google Classroom. I met with teachers this afternoon and they expressed how good it was to see many of you. We have had a couple things come up that we want to share with you to hopefully make this transition a bit smoother.
1. To go to your Google Classroom you need to be logged into your school google account (i.e first.last@siuslaw.k12.or.us). This is the account teachers will be posting assignments to and how you will go to Google Meet to attend classes. Links for classes will be in your class feeds.
2. We are still hoping to collect your personal email accounts so we can update you on school wide or class wide information. This is a different account then the one above. Your school accounts do not allow you to access email. If you have not updated your email address, please do so here: https://forms.gle/iVuhFYRWhcQ6... . If you do not have an email account, please go to https://accounts.google.com/si... and sign up for one.
3. We will be doing report cards on April 17th. This will allow you an additional week to turn any late work in and/or do the supplemental work in order to raise your grade(s).
Google Classroom school schedule will be as follows:
Period 1 8:00am - 8:25 am
Period 2 8:30am - 8:55 am
Period 3 9:00am - 9:25 am
Period 4 9:30am - 9:55 am
Period 5 10:00am - 10:25 am
Period 6 10:30am - 10:55 am
Period 7 11:00am - 11:25
Again, this week is a soft start in order to trouble shoot and practice prior to our official "Go Live" date of April 13th.
