Amy Tregoning, SHS Natural Resources (CTE) teacher, was honored on Friday with the Oregon Natural Resource Educators Association (ONREA) Sapling Educator of the Year award. The term Sapling refers to schools that have instituted a Natural Resources program within the last 3 years.
Tregoning is wrapping up her first year with this new program of study. She is committed to providing students with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities they need to pursue careers in forestry, wildlife management, outdoor recreation, and environmental conservation.
