Parent Teacher conferences are Monday 4-8 and Tuesday 1-8. If you haven’t already signed up please call the office Morning to schedule a time. We will have child care in the library both days.
The Incredibles 2 Movie Night at SHS
Come support the PE Department and attend the Fall Fling dance Friday 16th 5-7 pm! There will be be ice cream, pizza and drinks for sale. Cost of the dance is $5 and all proceeds will go to the PE department to purchase new equipment. Remember... you must be in full attendance in order to attend, or excused by the office.

It’s that time of year again. The Box Tops Civil War Challenge! Bring them in to the office to “vote” for your favorite team – Oregon Ducks or Oregon State Beavers. Winner announced Nov. 20 So start saving Box Tops, and help raise funds for the PTA and your school!
Just a reminder about Spirit Week costume day Friday and the Dance..... for safety reasons please no full face paint or face masks or weapons of any kind included in your costume!
● The Halloween Dance is this Friday from 5-7! $5 or show up in costume to save a dollar. There will be slime nachos and other tasty treats, open gym, dancing, a costume contest and much more!

Dress up each day to show your school spirit! All outfits must be school appropriate. Halloween costumes may not cover up the face and students need to be identifiable at all times.
The boys basketball schedule has been updated (all times and dates are subject to change). Check it out under athletic information. Official practice begins Monday, 10/22 after school until 5:30pm for both 7th and 8th grade teams. Parent meeting will be Thursday, Oct 25- 5:15pm for 7th grade parents and 5:40pm for 8th grade parents. Go Viks!
Mrs. Perry received an Outstanding Teacher Award from OSTA (Oregon Science Teachers Association) for her continued work in Stream Team. Way to go Mrs. Perry!

Color-a-Thon at Siuslaw Middle School at 9:00 AM on Saturday, November 3rd. Registration must be turned in by October 17th. Collect donations from friends and family to support you and our school. Or, just register to participate, includes a T-shirt and a color packet.

***Open gyms will start Oct 15- 19, (except no open gym Oct 18th) from 3:30 to 530.
***Official practice will start Oct 22nd after school and the end of the practice will be determine by the coaches.
