Special Programs Updates:
Our time in distance learning informed us on the positives of using virtual meetings to make team communication easier. If you would like to continue using virtual meetings for your student's special program meeting, please let the case manager know and we can accommodate.
Special Education Programs
Case managers and teachers are reaching out to discuss IEP recovery services. This will be addressed at IEP meetings and will be based on data that helps to identify need that falls outside the range of what all kids experience during this post-COVID learning time.
Talented and Gifted Programs
TAG programming has additional support this year. We have a district level TAG Coordinator who can support student needs in the classroom. For a full update and contact information, see the TAG webpage at: https://www.siuslaw.k12.or.us/o/siuslaw-school-district/page/talented-and-gifted-tag
Our thoughts are with you all, as we try to stay healthy and safe.
