The Florence Community PTA is proud to host an Adolescent Wellness and Suicide Prevention Forum on Wednesday, March 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Siuslaw Middle School. The event aims to raise awareness about the importance of mental health among young people and to highlight the resources available in Florence, Oregon that promote well-being and safety. The event can be livestreamed at tinyurl.com/florence pta or directly at https://www.youtube.com/live/N3LjvOvPp9Y?feature=share.
Several local and regional organizations have volunteered to support our community at this event, including Coastal Counseling, LLC, Siuslaw Outreach Services, Mobile Crisis Response Team, Oregon Integrated Health, PFLAG, Options Counseling and Family Services, Lines for Life, Lane County Public Health, among others. For more information, please contact Katherine Davidson at firstname.lastname@example.org. All members of the community are welcome to attend, including parents, educators, students, and community leaders.
