As we head into the rainy, stormy months ahead, in the event of an emergency closure or school delay, ParentSquare is the primary tool to communicate out to the community. The general process for determining an emergency change in school operations in found in board Policy EBCD Emergency Closures.

In addition to ParentSquare, you can also choose to sign up for FlashAlert. FlashAlert has collected and distributed school weather closure information to the news media for 44 years. As part of an emergency notification, FlashAlert communicates the same information to multiple news outlets in our community. FlashAlert can send you the same messages that schools, fire, police and other government agencies release to the public by email or by phone app.
