The VFW's Patriot's Pen is a nationwide essay contest for youth which gives students an opportunity to write essays expressing their views on an annual patriotic theme. This year's theme is "How Can I Be a Good American?"
National winners can earn at least $500 and up to $5,000!
Essays need to be between 300-400 words, written by the student and typed (no graphics or color). Essays are due no later than October 31st, 2021. Please read the rules of the essay before submitting. Please encourage your student to participate in this great opportunity!
