In 2021, the state legislature directed the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) to review state high school graduation requirements. As part of that work, ODE wants to know what matters most to people about earning a high school diploma in our state. Oregon’s Kitchen Table (https://www.oregonskitchentable.org/), a program of Portland State University, is working with ODE to gather input from people across the state about this topic. Please contact Oregon’s Kitchen Table directly (info@oregonskitchentable.org) if you would like interpretation for the Zoom session.

It is important for policymakers to hear about your and your family’s experience in school. What you share will help ODE make recommendations about high school graduation requirements. If you aren’t able to attend this conversation, you can also share what you think on an online survey at https://consultations.oregonskitchentable.org/hs-grad-requirements.
